It is with great excitement that I am writing to you announcing the upcoming date for the 2017 UCLA Psychology Undergraduate Research Conference (PURC). The conference will be on Friday, May 5, 2017 at UCLA and will showcase approximately 100 undergraduate psychology research projects in poster and paper talk sessions.
We are looking for a diverse representation of campuses and for high-quality abstracts written by undergraduate researchers in your department. Please encourage your strongest undergraduate researchers to apply. The application is now live, and students must submit the application and fees online by Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. The application and details are available athttps://purc.psych.ucla.edu/applying-to-purc/ .
If you are hesitant because of the distance, or because of the date, keep in mind that many of your undergraduates may call Southern California home, and others would love to travel to a conference city where the beaches are warm and sunny—especially if they are at the end of their own academic year.
