Psychological & Brain Sciences 5086 | Spring, 2017
This course covers topics related to recovery of information from memory. These topics include retrieval during repeated tests of memory, the effects of taking one test on later tests (retrieval practice), why retrieval cues are effective, states of awareness during retrieval, implicit or nonconscious retrieval, how retrieval processes can give rise to false memories, and other issues.
